Our Goal is to host 3 major events over 1-2 days during Welcome Week (Bison Week)!
(Fall 2023 - August)
Event #1: Have a few Howard Alumni speak about Entrepreneurship and Giving Back
HBCU Gear Giveaway
Book Scholarships
(Speakers: HGC Apparel and Black & Scholared) - more to be added
(The JCS Project, Simply Helping Foundation and Rdevia - Nonprofits)
Event #2: Pop-Up Giving
(Set up outside of the dorm rooms and popular areas on campus to pass out boxes
Event #3: Food Pantry
Drop off boxes at the Food Pantry
NOTE: I will reach out to the NEW 2023-24 SGA and Royal Court to help with getting approval and dates.
OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $5000

$5000 = 500 Boxes!

50 will go to the Food Pantry
100 given out at the speaking event
350 given out in front of the dorms
NOTE: In order for this to work we will need Everyone's help to promote and raise donations!
